FACTS ABOUT NIGERIAN YOUTHS
It is sad to note that one of the major problems our youths are facing today is unemployment. Both educated and uneducated youths face this problem. 

The United Nations estimated that the population of Nigeria as at Tuesday January 15, 2019 was 198,599,726 (One hundred and ninety-eight million five hundred and ninety-nine thousand seven hundred and twenty-six) persons. This makes Nigeria the 7th most populated country in the world and the first in Africa. 

More than half of the population of Nigeria are youths and the youth unemployment rate as at 2018 was 38%. This meant that 38 out of every 100 young people in Nigeria were unemployed.  If these statistics are anything to go by, then over 38 million Nigerian youths are jobless. No wonder there is so much crime in the country! "An idle man" it has been said, "is the devil's workshop"

THE GOOD NEWS
The good news is that there are millions of jobs and businesses on the internet today. While millions of Nigerian youths are searching and competing for the few available jobs in the country, there are millions of job opportunities on the internet yet to be explored.

According to the Nigerian Communications Commision (NCC), as at January 22, 2019 over 111.6 million Nigerians used the internet. Can you imagine! Over 56% of Nigerians use the internet. More than 56 out of every 100 Nigerians use the internet today and the number has increased steadily since the year 2000. Do you know that this is the Nigeria has the highest number of internet users in Africa? Do you also realize that most of these internet users are youths? If only they knew how to get jobs and earn money from the internet!
