Angela Ajodo-Adebanjoko is from Echeno in Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria.
She's an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science Federal University of Lafia, a Gender and Conflict Expert, a Public Speaker, and a Creative Writer.
Angela is the best-selling author of several Christian novels of fiction and non-fiction for children, young adults and adults, as well as historical and contemporary books.
She has authored twenty-four books, twelve of which were published collectively in 2021.
Angela began writing in 2006 and published her first four novels (Eniola, Burying The Hatchet, Queensdale Academy and The Birthday Gift) which were written simultaneously, that same year. ‘Eniola’ in particular, was written in less than twenty-four hours. Her books, ‘The Costly Mistake, Lily In The Mire, Poor Boy Rich Boy; A Bitter Pill among others, are bestsellers.
In addition to her books, Angela has thirty-four scholarly articles and thirteen chapters in national and international peer-reviewed academic journals and books.
She has been a presenter at several national and international academic conferences, and is a member of several professional bodies.
Angela graduated summa cum laude from University of Abuja with a degree in Political Science in 1997 and received the Best Graduating Student Award in the department.
She's a lover of music and is married to Pastor Adelaja Adebanjoko.
